CSI: NY (Crime Scene Investigation: New York) is an American police procedural television series, which premiered on September 22, 2004. The series was the second spin-off, indirectly, from the popular CBS show, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and directly from CSI: Miami, during an episode of which several of the CSI: NY characters made their first appearance. The show airs Wednesdays at 10PM ET/PT on CBS.

The show trails the investigations of a team of New York City Police Department forensic scientists as they unveil the circumstances behind mysterious and unusual deaths and other crimes.

CSI: NY was produced in partnership with the Canadian media company Alliance Atlantis. The company dissolved after the third season in 2007. All production now is done under the purview of CBS Paramount Television.

The show has concluded its fifth season which started September 24, 2008 and ended on May 14, 2009 in the United States.[1] The fifth season of the show started on FIVE for viewers in the United Kingdom from the 10th January 2009. The show's 100th episode aired on November 19, 2008.

Season 6 will start on September 26, 2009
The season final will be aired around Spring 2010

i start watching csi ny in the end of season 2 in holland, so i catched up so much online and buying the dvd's. I love them since I saw season 1

Yeah with me it went that way too. I watched a couple of eps on TV and I was actually staying over at my grandparents for a week and I text messaged my mom to buy all the CSI:NY DVDs that were out lol

I really can't wait for season 6, the cliffhanger from 5x25 is just SO cruel

It's lame, cos she was great. I loved the scenes with her and Stella.
